PROJECT DESCRIPTION
AMHigley recently served as Construction Manager at Risk on Baldwin Wallace University’s new Austin E. Knowlton Center (Math, Computer Science, & Engineering building). The project scope includes:
- Demolition of existing University-owned houses; clearing the site for the new building
- Construction of a new 2 story laboratory and academic building, including a basement level.
- Site Improvements, including plazas, pathways, landscape, and new parking.
- Demolition of Ward Hall.
Preconstruction efforts included value engineering and design option analysis to allow the project to increase scope and square footage while maintaining the project’s budget.
