PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Albert M. Higley Co. served as both General Contractor and Construction Manager at Risk for University School’s upper campus master plan projects. The Phase 1 new Academic and Science Wing project included a 52,000 SF addition housing 25 classrooms for History, Math, English, and Foreign Languages, while the lower floor contains classroom-lab suites for Physics, Biology, and Chemistry, as well as a three-room Environmental Science Suite and a Special Projects Lab.
The second phase included a new entry and Arts Center with a long porch and dramatically tall lobby that doubles as an art gallery and school showcase.
The project received LEED® Silver Certification.
