Announcing Our New Office!
The Albert M. Higley Co. is excited to announce the opening of our new Pennsylvania office located in downtown Pittsburgh! The office represents our regional growth and mission of expansion to serve our client’s needs.

The new office will be led by Skylar Van Soest, a longtime Pennsylvania resident. Skylar’s project experience in Pennsylvania healthcare and higher education construction makes him the ideal fit for this role. See our Leadership page for more on Skylar and his role.
Dan Sehlhorst, VP of Major and Strategic Pursuits, has lead the Pittsburgh strategic expansion over the past two years; "AMHigley's growth has focused on professional opportunity. It’s fitting that our first project in Pittsburgh is with a past customer, a $19 million project for Tapestry Senior Living in Moon Township," Dan explains. "Expanding into the Pittsburgh market is a strategic effort in providing opportunities for our rising stars. Those same young professionals make up the future of our company."
Dan added, "With a 94 year history, a reputation for legacy quality construction, and a respected Pittsburgh professional in Skylar Van Soest to manage our Pittsburgh operation; we believe we have positioned ourselves to become part of the Pittsburgh community, and to offer best in class, client focused construction services for the healthcare, educational and corporate office markets."
AMHigley is excited to plant roots in the Steel City, and for the start of another chapter in our history. Our new office is in The Landmark Building, a short walk across the bridge from downtown.
