PROJECT DESCRIPTION
AMHigley recently completed the new office headquarters for Great Lakes Cheese. The new facility is on the site of their current headquarters and Super Plant in Hiram, OH. The 55,000 SF building was designed by Vocon and completed in February 2021.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
- The site of the HQ project includes a 70,000 SF cut of existing fill that was placed over the years during the development of the business park. Most of the fill will remain on-site and be utilized for landscaping berms.
- Our scope Included providing all technology, security, and audio/video systems as Design-Build.
- Great Lakes Cheese is also constructing a 300,000 SF expansion to their existing packaging plant. Both the plant expansion and HQ construction will be ongoing at the same time. The project requires additional coordination to ensure the two projects do not interfere with the progress of the other. AMHigley’s scope of work includes performing landscaping and other site improvements around the plant expansion to create a unified campus feel.
