PROJECT DESCRIPTION
AMHigley served as Construction Manager at Risk for the Cleveland Cavaliers Training Facility which included a regulation basketball practice court, a hydro-physical therapy room with hot and cold water plunge pools, home team and visiting team locker rooms, player dining facilities, a team theater, and coaching and administrative offices.
AMHigley served as Construction Manager at Risk for this new training facility in Independence, Ohio. This two-level concrete and steel-framed facility features:
- A regulation basketball practice court.
- A hydro-physical therapy room with hot and cold water plunge pools and a treadmill therapy pool.
- Home team, visiting team, and coaches locker rooms.
- Player dining facility and lounge with an outdoor balcony deck.
- A team theater featuring sophisticated audio/visual/film technology and a media center.
- Coaching and administrative offices.
- A 28-car underground parking garage.
- Back-up power system, motion-sensitive lighting, and high technology video, audio, and security systems.
- Site development that includes about 50 surface parking spaces.
